Mission Statement:

The ECAAT UAV will be designed to compete in the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) student UAV competition. The 2007 competition mission objectives are for an unmanned, radio controllable aircraft to be launched and transition or continue to autonomous flight, navigate a specified course, use onboard payload sensors to locate and assess a series of manmade objects in a search area prior to returning to the launch point for landing. ECAAT objectives are to modify an off-the-shelf RC with avionics that provide the capability for autonomous flight and achieving the mission objectives.
